LPEA’s Green Power Program
Just One Block

At La Plata Electric Association, we've launched the Just One Block campaign. If you'll purchase just one block of Green Power, or electricity generated from a renewable resource, we can fund installation of solar PV panels at our local middle schools and libraries - and more. It's an educational effort for our communities, and a step toward locally generated electricity.

LPEA’s power supplier, Tri-State Generation & Transmission, purchases renewable energy and its attributes, from wind- generating facilities across the western United States.

We offer Green Power in 100 kilowatt hour blocks for an additional $0.08 per month.

Additionally, you can choose to contribute Green Power funds to support local renewable generation projects.

You have several options to sign up for green power. Sign up online, call or stop by our offices in Durango and Pagosa Springs.
