Sign up for one block of Green Power

LPEA’s power supplier, Tri-State Generation & Transmission, purchases renewable energy and its attributes, from wind- generating facilities across the western United States.

We offer Green Power in 100 kilowatt hour blocks for an additional $0.80 per month.

A portion of Green Power funds generated each month remain in Archuleta and La Plata Counties and aid the "local" effort by providing rebates to homeowners who install renewable generation and by supporting renewable projects at schools and non-profit developments.
