To advance and support causes within the service territory of La Plata Electric Association, Inc. to improve the quality of life in our community.

Nonprofit Community Support Fund

Round Up Foundation funds are generated by LPEA consumers rounding up their electric bills to the next higher dollar amount (average of 50 cents/month, $6.00/year).

A local volunteer board reviews applications, determines need and allocates funds on a monthly basis.

No time commitment is required on your part.

Help to a Wide Variety of Organizations

Funding helps many non-profit organizations and special community projects in LPEA's service area. Organizations funded include:

Humane Society	Space Camp	Ruby Sisson Memorial Library

The Foundation aids individuals through the Community Emergency Assistance Coalition (259-1255) in La Plata County and the Pagosa Outreach Coalition (264-2182) in Archuleta County.

Donations are tax deductible

Your donations are tax deductible and stay right here in our communities.

Since 1996, over $515,000 has been donated to non-profit organizations. Individuals have received over $163,000 for one-time emergency needs in La Plata and Archuleta Counties.
