Energy Outreach Colorado

As the seasons begin to change and the weather chills, Energy Outreach Colorado endeavors to warm hearts.

The only independent, non-profit organization in the state that raises funds to help income-limited Coloradans afford home energy, Energy Outreach Colorado relies on tax-deductible private donations, corporate contributions and foundation grants to literally help keep the lights on for our friends and neighbors.

La Plata Electric Association supports Energy Outreach Colorado and its efforts. Since 1989 the organization has distributed more than $78 million to fund energy bill payment assistance, energy efficiency upgrades for affordable housing and energy efficiency education.
