La Plata Electric Association, Inc. (LPEA), your local electric cooperative, is proud to offer our first annual Electrical Safety Poster Contest! All fifth-grade students in Archuleta and La Plata counties (Colorado) can create a poster showing us how to be safe around electricity. The poster contest will run through Monday, April 29th, 2019. The winning posters from each school will be featured on LPEA’s website and social media platforms during May, which is National Electrical Safety Month.
