Induction cooktops cook faster and are twice as efficient as gas-powered cooktops. They are also safer, as there is no open flame, and the stove stays relatively cool preventing stuck-on food mess.

- Submit applications within 90 days of completed installation or certificate of occupancy (new construction).
- Induction for induction cooktop replacement does not qualify.
- Cooktop/range must be 30” or larger.

- Copies or photos of the receipts for all purchases.
- Verification of old range/cooktop (if applicable). Photos of the old unit are sufficient.
- IRS W-9 form completed by the member/rebate recipient. A W-9 is kept on file by LPEA as proof of the allocation of funds. Any tax liability is the responsibility of the rebate recipient. Name on W-9 must match name on rebate check. View W-9 Guide here.
- Applications typically take 8-10 weeks to process and are remitted as a bill credit.
