We're here to help you assess the energy efficiency of your home or business and propose measures to save YOU money on your utility bills. 

Eligibility and Application Details
Residential + Commercial

  • You must complete at least one recommended measure.   
  • The audit must be completed by a certified auditor or expert.  
  • Rebate applies to existing buildings only - not new construction.   
  • The total amount of rebate (combined with those from other entities, such as Atmos Energy) cannot exceed the out-of-pocket cost of the audit.  
  • Rebate application must be submitted within 90 days of the audit.

You will need to attach:  

  • A copy of the audit.   
  • A receipt for the payment of the audit, including the full price.  
  • A receipt showing the completion of one of the recommended measures.  
  • Reassignment form IF rebate is going directly to auditor or another person not listed on the LPEA account 

Energy Efficiency Audit and Upgrade Rebate

For this one-time rebate:

  • Secure a professional energy audit (BPI level or equivalent) AND 
  • Make at least one energy efficiency upgrade suggested in that audit
